Welcome to North Star Home Repair. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our scheduling services through Jobber. By booking an appointment, you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use our scheduling service if you do not agree to all the terms and conditions stated on this page.
Booking Appointments
- Eligibility: By scheduling an appointment, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
- Accuracy of Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the booking process. Any false information provided may result in the cancellation of your appointment.
- Confirmation: Upon booking an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. Please review the details and notify us immediately if any changes are needed.
Services
- Scope of Services: Our services include one-day jobs such as water heaters, window air conditioners, hanging blinds, smart home installations, flooring, and tech services including networking, PC virus removal and repair.
- Availability: All services are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse any booking.
- Service Area: Services are provided within the designated service area specified on our website. We do not service Maryland. Appointments outside our service area may be subject to additional charges or cancellation.
Payments and Cancellations
- Pricing: All prices for services are as quoted on our website or communicated during the booking process. Prices are subject to change.
- Payments: Half of the payment is due upfront. This upfront payment is not refundable once the product has been purchased. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed upon. We accept various payment methods as indicated on our website.
- Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time without any charges. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may incur a cancellation fee.
Liability
- Limitation of Liability: North Star Home Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of our services.
- Warranties: We provide a warranty for our services as per the details provided during the booking. Any issues arising must be reported within the warranty period.
Privacy
- Data Collection: We collect and process personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By booking an appointment, you consent to such data collection and processing.
- Data Usage: Your data will be used solely for the purpose of providing the booked services and improving our offerings.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which North Star Home Repair operates, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that state.

We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly.
